Genesis

Commencing its operations in the year 2001, Jamshedpur Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd derives its name and inspiration from the so called Steel city Jamshedpur - a culture described as one of the greatest in India combining a spirit of innovation with sound business and trade practices. JUCBL has grown ceaselessly and dynamically as an organization driven by a sincere zeal to give its customers banking services and products at par with the quality standards in the industry.

Mr. Ram Krishna.Singh, a well known Advocate, conceived the vision of Jamshedpur Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd. It was a collective contribution towards social development that brought our bank into being.

The Bank was formally inaugurated in 17 Feb 2001
